The Background
The Prince's Trust – set to become the King’s Trust – offers free support to help 16–30-year-olds develop skills and confidence for work and business. In the last year alone, the team has helped more than 5,500 young people across the North West to develop confidence and skills to live, learn and earn. Honestly, the difference made is inspirational.
The Trust has a number of ways an entrepreneur or business can support through patronage and support at events such as "An Audience with", the Eaton Ball (hosted in Chester by the Duke of Grosvenor), Royal Birkdale Golf Day, and a Clay Pigeon shoot.
As below, there is an exciting new fundraising event coming up on Friday 13th September, the inaugural Prince's Trust Padel Tournament!
Raising Funds for The Prince’s Trust – The Prince’s Trust Padel Tournament 2024
On behalf of The Prince’s Trust, we are delighted to invite you and your organisation to enter a team at The Prince’s Trust Regional Padel Tournament 2024. Padel Tennis is taking the nation by storm and this intermediate/advanced level Tournament is set to become a national flagship event for The Prince’s Trust.
Hosted by ‘The Padel Club, Wilmslow’ on Friday 13th September 2024, the Tournament will consist of 16 male and 16 female competitive playing pairs battling it out to be crowned ‘Regional Padel Champions 2024’. Further details for the Tournament are below – we expect demand to be high!
At the heart of this year’s Tournament is the need to raise funds to support the incredible work of The Prince’s Trust. Every penny raised will go to helping disadvantaged young people across the North West. For this reason, team entry is set at a minimum of £500 per playing pair as we look to deliver our target of raising £50,000. We welcome your support!
Experts in tailor-made travel, ITC Travel Group, have agreed to donate the following 2 prizes to our Tournament Winners!
Prize A: Enjoy a 2-night stay for 2 in a Deluxe Suite including breakfast at Terre Balance, Provence, France. (Blackout dates will apply and be detailed on the prize winners’ voucher)
Prize B: Enjoy a 3 night stay for 2 in a Superior Sea View room including breakfast at Park Lane, Limassol, Cyprus. Prize also includes 1 hour of padel at the hotel per day. (Blackout dates will apply and be detailed on the prize winners’ voucher)

In return for your support, individuals will benefit from a day of competitive intermediate/advanced level Padel and celebration all in the name of The Prince’s Trust. Entrants will have the opportunity to hear how The Prince’s Trust helps young people to transform their lives, through education, employment, and enterprise, and how, with your help, young people can reach their potential. On the day you will also benefit from gourmet food, drinks, live music, and a complimentary sports massage! We want the 13th of September to be a day of celebration and for this reason, we also encourage you to bring your friends and family to cheer you on from the incredible facilities at The Padel Club.
We expect demand to be high so please let us know if you are willing to support by entering an either a men's or women's team (or both) and help us deliver our target of £50,000 funds raised for The Prince’s Trust.
